What the F*&% is LASERS?!

Lupe is back with some new political rhymes that might have been missing in his last LP Lasers. From the beginning of this mix-tape, Lupe lets you know that he has not abandoned the political conscious rhymes that his fans know him for the best. Coupled with some dubstep beats and rock n roll production,  Lupe displays what been on his chest over an array of production and sounds. The album is definitely old Lupe with some great beats. This is exactly what Lasers was missing!
For those who do not know the story behind the release of his last album, supposedly the sound was more mainstream because that is what the record wanted to sell more copies. Lupe's lyrics were watered down to be less political and radio friendly but ironically one of the biggest tracks from the album was the mot political; "Words I Never Said." Many fans did not like the album and I do not blame them. The production and lyrics did not match and many of the songs were more annoying then creative. I appreciate for putting out new material but the fans want the sound that made him famous, not what the label "thinks" will get him success. With this mix-tape, Lupe shoes lyrical growth and little controversy with a track named "WWJD He'd Probably LOL Like WTF?!"
