Now everything can not be focused on rap/hip-hop or R&B on this site, sometimes you have to open your mind to some other great genres of music. In this case, Kaskade's latest LP Fire and Ice was recently brought to my attention about a couple weeks ago by a couple facebook posts. I'll admit that I did not know much about this artist, so I did some research through Wikipedia. Kaskade is an American Dj and producer from Illinois, who has been in the music industry for over a decade and created mixes for big name artists such as Britney Spears, Keri Hilson, Lady Gaga, and Justin Timberlake. There is something mesmerizing and interesting about this Dj's blend of uptempo but soothing beats. This album is filled with tracks that you could hear in a club or just out in a coffee shop. I can honestly say that I am glad I came across this album and will continue to look out for any upcoming mixes or projects.
