T.I. proves he is more than just a family man, a reality tv star, author, and recent jail bird but that he still has the same skills he had when he was locked up for over a year. With his new tape F*ck The City Up, southern rapper gives his fan some new and old material as a sample for his upcoming LP set to drop later this year. Released on the 1st of the year, this 19 track mixtape is filled with features from Dr. Dre, Trey Songz, B.O.B., Meek Mill, Pusha T, and production from Just Blaze to Lil C. The tape is a solid work and T.I. has yet to fail to deliver great lyrical content, minus the flop No Mercy. I feel that some fans may have slept on this tape because 1) it was released during the holidays and 2) some of the tracks ("Popped Off") have previously been leaked over the past year or so to keep people's attention in the rapper while he was away. Although T.I.'s star power and commercial seems to be fading only to the thirsty chicks and die hard fans, I am still looking forward to his future work. For those who do not think that he is a talented emcee, listen to how his flow and production has changed from Rubberband Man to King (one of his best albums to date, in my opinion).
