Throwbacks That will Never Die...

“Goldie and Ghost, black African Rose…"
Thank god for hidden classics you forgot you had on your Itunes shuffle playlist. While pre-gaming this weekend, “Cherchez la ghost” came on and a sudden nostalgia for the old days of rap soon followed. With a melodic and almost haunting chorus by Goldie coupled with aggressive and witty lyrics by Ghostface Killah, CherChez la Ghost is an addictive tune that will remain stuck in the heads of new and old hip-hop lovers for days. Also featuring Wu-tang clan member U-God, this Carlos Bess produced track includes samples from "CherChez la Femme" by Dr. Buzzard's Original Savannah Band and "Greedy G" by Brentford All stars. La Ghost became an instant chart topper in the early 2000's and still remains a throwback that will never die…
