From one team to the Next

With the New Spider-man movie about to hit a theater near you, it makes sense that Marvel has begun to focus their attention on him. As I said before in the previous post I have not really been a huge Spider-man fan and thought that his story was kind of like a Disney sugar coated version of Bat-man but I grew up watching the 90’s cartoon and the movies were always well done. So with this new spotlight placed on him over the course of the past few months, Marvel decided to give him another book and even a team to go with it; Avenging Spider-Man.
The first issue hit shelves last week and what caught my attention the most about it was the art of Joe Madureira and team roster. From the cover I saw a red Hulk. Now I haven’t been following comics for a long time so I do not know exactly why the Hulk is red but it definitely looks a lot cooler than the green one rockin’ the purple pants.  The artwork is eye-catching and from page to page there is non-stop movement and action. The story, written by Zeb Wells, is not very creative but it is only the first issue so it has some time to progress.
