Brian Mcknight "If Ur ready to learn"

After leaking a sample of a creeper worthy anthem, Brian McKnight has released the full version of his latest work "ifUrReady2Learn". What some may consider a new theme song for the show How to Catch a Predator, McKnight hopes to achieve a new audience and fan base with this track. The "Back at One" singer made a suicidal musical and career move with this ill attempt at being "sexy" or "provaocative." Nothing scream mid-life crisis more than a well established, educated singer making ratchet music. The video for the single was released and quickly removed from youtube after the song leaked. If you thought the song was bad, you should have seen the video. I am not going to go into full detail because I don't have the patience, as I am laughing while I am typing, but I will say that the video included a classroom, some girls, informational videos, a vagina sock pocket, and a graduation ceremony complete with diplomas. The video can be seen on funnyordie.com

After making a song too funny and ratchet to not sample, Noreaga quickly capitalized on the Brian McKnight line by sampling "Let Me show you how the p___ y works" and making this newly leaked tracked.

Eric Benet returns from a brief hiatus and teams up with Lil Wayne on his newest track "Red Bone Girl". This uptempo, R&B single is filled with soul and could be a praising anthem for the lighter persuasion girls of the world. With Weezy on the track, it adds a younger, fresher vibe as it breaks down to a jerk dance friendly beat that blends well. Benet's choice to put Wayne on the track was reportedly a decision made after he found that Wayne was a fan of the singer while in prison. After some controversial remarks about dark skin woman in his previous works, Weezy's addition to a single dedicated to thick light skin women is only fitting.

"Like a G6" creators Far East Movement make another attempt at keeping the party going till you're blacked out drunk and bring carried off the floor with their new single "Dirty Bass". The track is appropiately heavy in bass and rolling The Stereotypes produced beat. The members arent winning any awards for sick rhymes but they definitely made the right decision on featuring Tyga for a liquid 16 flow that melts well with the beat. The track isnt as addictive as their previous mega-hit "Like a G6" but something you can listen to after a few drinks in the club or in your car while driving through the city admmiring the night life.

Usher seems to be on a string of releasing good music lately. After his R&B hit "Climax" steadily takes over the radio stations and climbs the charts, he released the club banger "Scream". Now with his new track "Lemme See" ft Rick Ross, he combines the smooth and sultry productions of Jim Jonsin to narrarate his game to that fiending female club head. This track has some ATL club influences and can be both a dance track or between the sheets soundtrack. With the addition of Rick Ross giving his own rendition of game with the lines  "...Chanel hoodie on, looking like Trayvon Martin / George Zimmerman don’t want it.The 458 Ferari, I park it on my lawn. I let her meet my tongue, she blow up like a bomb” Althought it may not be in the best taste considering that the trial is still pending, you cant deny that his flow on the track was a good look for the reigning champ of R&B.

Former Danity Kane starlet, Celebrity Apprentice contestant, and newly styled redhead Aubrey O'day is not a newcomer to the music scene. With two platinum albums behind her and two reality tv shows, she has managed to stay on the mainstream radar for a couple years now. Although O'day is more known for controversy, and a very appealing playboy spread, than her solo music career with two singles that have yet to hit the charts. She returns with a new single ironically titled "Wrecking Ball." This pop ballad is VERY light and radio friendly. It is well produced but comes across as very generic and lacks a clear style or personality that sets her apart from any other pop singer that is current now. I am not really a fan but for those younger and into string guitar over a synthesized beat will enjoy it.

After a male group of singers part ways for reasons unknown, it is very rare for any other singer but the lead singer to make it back on the charts with a solo effort. What makes harder for groups like Danity Kane is the fact that each girl had a distinct voice and sound that was shared throughout their tracks. What also makes it easier for these former members is that they were reality as well as music stars. Capitalizing on that, each member has gone on to pursue their own solo efforts. One former member that has been releasing music is D.Woods. She is back with a new club banger track "2 the Bottom". This is a headbanging, guitar ripped, hype track that is something new from the singer. With the right promotion and team behind her, she could creep up on those mc charts but only time will tell...

If you have been following the blog at all then you already know that I am a Big K.R.I.T. fan. He is one of the few emcees who can give raw sounds of dirty south clubs, real lyrics, or deliver a sophisticated flow that will actually make you think. With the leak of his unreleased track "I heard it All" from his mixtape "K.R.I.T. Wuz Here", he paints the picture of the struggling artists being led on to believe he was going to make it with little results. Bias aside and whether or not I knew who K.R.I.T was before this, the single is dope and the lyrics are emotional. He is a talented emcee and I can't wait till he makes it big because the South hasn't really seen emcees like this since Outkast or Little Brother.

I came across ANTHM while searching through DjBooth for new music. This Manhattan bred, Ethipian-American emcee is a new comer to the game but his flow is pretty nice. His freestyle over "Up!" caught my attention and his other sampled tracks "Run to" got me onto Youtube looking up more of his work. With his latest FREE download single "Life Imitates Art", he takes a new artistic take over this dark beat to paint a picture of his struggle breaking into the music industry. Although his voice does remind me a little of Cory Gunz, lyrically he has the potential to be a J.Cole on the lookout for this NY rapper.

It is good to stay well rounded when it comes to music because, nowadays, genre lines are becoming even more blurred as artists are experimenting with new sounds and beats. I have always been a small fan of elcetronic and house but havent really paid it much attention until I started to experience the night life. One of the standout tracks is the electro dubstep fusion "Say My Name" by Peter Robinson. This is a gritty and fast pace track with a trance like element and smooth breakdown. It quickly became an instant audio addiction.

Coming from two very eccentric and gifted parents, you wouldnt expect the junior starlet to be anything else but a born star. Willow Smith made a name for herself with her hit single "Whip My Hair" and has been consistantly releasing new music since. Her latest track "Do It Like Me (RockStar)" is a table banging, guitar ripped anthem for her fans. The song isnt't as catchy or addictive as her first hit but the 11 year old is still a growing star.Although her style of late does seem a little mature and Rihanna inspired for her age, she still appears to be enjoying being a kid.

With a series of leaks, Kanye West and Chief Keef drop another new remix to the track "I Dont Like". After the 16 year old Chicago native received mad radio play in the Chicago area for "I Don't Like", Yeezy enlisted Jadakiss, Pusha T, and Big Sean to add some G.O.O.D. flow to it. Each rapper has their own unique style, but I would say that Sean is then this track. He isnt really known for making club bangers and this gritty, headbangin, Waka Flocka-esque track is certainly a "shake them dreads" track. Now Keef isn't the best emcee by no means and we may just see a cartooned version of him featured on a new video of "Shawt Bus Shawty", but he could have a summer club hit on his hands after G.O.O.D. music approval.
